Technology Through Time Tour
A One-Day Tour in Central Delaware

The pace of technology is staggering and even more so when you see where we started!  Get a good idea of just how far we have come when you can compare what we had then to what we have now!

The Delaware State Museum and Education Center - Technology has made law enforcement easier.  You can experience the changes with exhibits featuring a command center, crime scene detection, and police equipment (including vehicles and personal items!).  See just how far the police have come in protecting and serving the public of Delaware.

The Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village - The march of technology starts with the hand implements of the 18th century and moves onto the gas-powered Ford Model-T with farm attachments.  Over 10,000 artifacts tell the story of ingenuity and innovation in farming technology.

Delaware Archaeology Museum - Go back even further in time to the tools first used by Native American inhabitants of the Delmarva Peninsula, and onto the adaptations made and new technologies introduced by the first colonial settlers from Sweden, Holland, and England.

The Air Mobility Command Museum -  The Museum houses a growing collection of vintage aircraft and artifacts that reflect the history and evolution of Air Mobility Command in the Air Force and of Dover AFB from its modest beginning to its current role as the Eastern U.S. hub of strategic airlift.  Take a look at the way technology has developed to insure our freedom.
