Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village - Farm life in the 19th century!  Wander through a re-created Village and study the thousands of country and farm life artifacts on display including the whittlin's of Jehu Camper, Delaware folk artist.  While you are here, be sure to pick up a copy of the Delaware Department of Agriculture Guide on operating farms in the area open to visitors.

Delaware Archaeology Museum in Downtown Dover introduces you to the earliest farmers of this land, the Native American inhabitants of the Delmarva Peninsula.  Continue on the learn about the contributions of the first colonial settlers from Sweden, Holland, and England. 

The Johnson Victrola Museum- A farmer's life was hard and money was scarce but one thing most farm families had was a Victrola.  This museum is an adventure in sound as it traces the history of music through the invention of the Victor Talking Machine Company and its mascot, Nipper.

John Dickinson Plantation - Where the "Penman of the American Revolution" lived as a boy. The mansion and outbuildings re-create 18th century plantation life.  This is the colonial version of the gentleman farmer.
